Olney Cherry Fair Saturday 26th June 2010 It’s that time of year again – the best day out in June. The Church of St Peter & St Paul Olney are holding their annual Cherry Fair in The Glebe, Church Street Gates open at 1.00pm and The Fair will be officially opened by the Mayor of Olney, Cllr Mike Hughes at 1.15 pm. At 12.45 pm the Men’s Pancake Race will take place in Church Street and a Fancy Dress Parade will leave The Market Place Olney Brass Band Competitions Demonstrations of Country Dancing Olney T.A.S.K Karate & Self-Defence Demonstration Novelty Dog Show Extensive choice of refreshments including a BBQ provided by Olney Co-op Games & Side Shows Tug of War Organ and Choral Recitals in St Peter & Paul’s Church and a further opportunity to visit the Bell Tower to view our beautiful new and restored bells So whether you want an energetic fun packed afternoon or just an opportunity to take afternoon tea within the environs of our beautiful church, this is the venue for you!
